Bricksquad Affiliate, RoseMo700, Murdered In Los Angeles
Sharewow stop the violence
PiKaHsSo
RoseMo700, an affiliate of Waka Flocka's Brick Squad Monopoly, was gunned down in Los Angeles on Thursday (November 3) while on his way home.
According to the L.A.Times, The 26-year-old (real name: Jomo Adoula Zambia) was driving a red BMW in Inglewood around 2:30 pm, shortly after dropping his girlfriend off at work, when it was shot at. RoseMo was hit in the arm and torso, and continued driving, speeding through a red light and smashing into an unmarked police car.
Both he and the police officer -- who had to be extracted from his car with the jaws of life -- were rushed to a nearby hospital. RoseMo succumbed to his injuries later that day, while the officer was in stable condition Thursday.
Officials are investigating the shooting, and said they had no information surrounding the circumstances as of press time. Inglewood police are asking that anyone with information call the tip line at (888) 412-7463.
However, a lot of things have unfolded online in the last several weeks, in regard to conflicts RoseMo had with others around Los Angeles.
Back in mid-September, RoseMo made headlines across hip-hop blogs when he and Brick Squad recording artist Ice Burgandy detailed an alleged run-in with L.A. rap star The Game, which they claimed ended with Game being knocked out at a Los Angeles shopping mall. Then more recently, days before his tragic death, RoseMo surfaced on blogs again, in a clip where he is seen fighting local rapper Boskoe1 while his friend, CTE rapper 2Eleven, films and comments about it.
Both altercations stemmed from arguments that began on Twitter, involving RoseMo's childhood friend Ice Burgundy, an L.A. rapper affiliated with Waka's Brick Squad label.
Police told the Times that The Game is not a suspect in the case. "Our investigation is leading us in a different direction," Police Detective Gabriel De La Torre said.
It's unclear if his previous beefs on the Internet contributed to his death.
Waka Flocka's publicist told the L.A. Weekly that he had no affiliation with RoseMo, but has worked with Ice Burgundy in the past.
RoseMo, 26, is survived by his 3-year-old daughter. His family and friends are planning to hold a vigil for him in Inglewood on Saturday (November 5).

Waka Flocka Interviews Tyler, The Creator Of Odd Future For Interview Magazine
Sharei think its DOPE when magazines do things of that nature
Odd Future, an 11-strong collective of anarchic, mix tape–dropping teenage and early-twentysomething skater-MCs from Los Angeles—also known as OFWGKTA, an acronym for Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All—have set the hip-hop micro-blogosphere afire this year with the indelicacy of a blast of kerosene from a flamethrower. But trending buzz notwithstanding, Odd Future has emerged as a singular force in contemporary hip-hop, and not only because they make fascinatingly antisocial, deeply (almost painfully) human music that’s totally out of step with the pop mainstream. Or because the group’s youngest member, 17-year-old Thebe Kgositsile, a.k.a. Earl Sweatshirt, was reportedly banished to a Samoan boarding school last year after he self-released his dark, misanthropic album Earl—a saga so bizarrely, mysteriously gripping that it was chronicled in both Complex and The New Yorker.
Or because another member, Syd “The Kyd” Bennett, is openly gay, which is still a rarity amongst rappers. It’s because the raw, unformed, aggressively loose-cannonish energy that Odd Future embodies somehow manages to seem both dangerous and inspiring, possessed of that intangible quality that, depending how it’s channeled, both hastens the collapse of great societies and starts very necessary revolutions—and because they make music that stands out from the very first listen and just keeps getting better as you notice the details.
At the center of the Odd Future inferno is 20-year- old Tyler, The Creator, the crew’s primary attention-getter, troublemaker, and ringleader. Born Tyler Okonma, and raised in various neighborhoods in L.A., he released his first album, Bastard, in 2009 without the support of a record label, simply uploading it onto the Internet. As of this writing, the music video for “Yonkers,” the first single from his second album, Goblin, which was released this past spring (via an actual record label, XL), has had more than 13 million views on YouTube.

Waka Flocka Has Beef With BET's Music Programer Stephen Hill @ BET Hiphop Awards
ShareBy Paul Cantor
The BET Hip-Hop Awards were taped last night (October 2) at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center, in Atlanta. The award show, in its fifth year running, is a one-of-a-kind event highlighting achievements in rap music specifically. It did not go off without a dose of controversy though.
The taping was reportedly smooth sailing except for a small snafu with newcomer Waka Flocka Flame's performance. The incident lead to a war of words on Twitter between the rapper and Stephen Hill, BET’s Executive Vice President of Entertainment and Music Programming.
Things initially heated up when Hill took to his Twitter account to voice his displeasure over Waka’s botched performance.
“The show was going so well... and then Waka Flak-ed,” he wrote. “"Waka. Flacka. Flamed. Out."
At the heart of Hill’s gripe was a change-up in the Atlanta rapper's performance that wasn’t planned.
“How the f--- you invite Waka Flocka and hate when I jump N the crowd to connect more wit fans and friends,” Waka tweeted. “ #rappers R robots lol.” CLICK HERE for the rest of this article i got from MTV's Rapfix blog
