♒ Throwback Theater 25 Biggie Smalls Craig Mack Interview By Starvyn Artist 1994
ShareAlot of people may have forgot but back in the early 90's A group of emcees & writters was doing big things in the DFW Music Scene and they were called the Starvyn Artist not only did they rap they had a underground magazine which was the pulse of the streets. Starvyn interviewed everyone from Outkast, to Guru, Master Ace but one that sticks out the most is when they interviewed the legendary Notorious BIG aka Biggie Smalls with Craig Mack back in 1994 at the Arista BMG Dallas Office Branch.
At the time they Biggie & Craig Mack was both on the road together as the Big Mack Promo tour they had their demos in a Big Mac package like the kind you get from Mac Donalds. Starvyn Artist which consisted of Aziz, James Shepherd, PiKaHsSo, Brian Berry, Michael Bailey, Vernon Norris, Anwar, Swiss Da Big Cheese & Kevin had no idea at the time that they where interview one of the humans who grew to be one of the biggest icons & hiphop.
Now 17 years later on the eve of Biggies 15 year anniversary of his untimely death PiKaHsSo is revealing to you the people of the world Part 1 of that behind the scene footage of that interview with Craig Mack & Biggie together this footage has never been scene before and was done by some creative hiphoppers from Dallas, Texas who dare to be noticed and where on a mission to change the world and set trends.
The interview conducted by Starvyn Artist Members: James Shepherd, and Big Aziz aka The Madhatter
Enjoy this Part 2 Will Be Coming Soon

ShareWow when I woke up this morning & saw this DOPE Dallas Observer article by Ben Westhoff on DFW (Dallas Fort Worth) HipHop Legend Tracy Lynn Curry aka The D.O.C. it really made PiKy feel good and the reason being is 1. Im a strong advocate for DFW HipHop History being that im the one who started the DFW HipHop History Facebook Group, The DFW HipHop History Facebook Community Page, & The DFW HipHop History Youtube Channel with Marcellus Suber & Tahiti of AwkQuarius 2. On Monday August 1st 2011 I uploaded my new song & PiDEO entitled "DINNER" which i just so happen to pay homage to the Legendary DFW Rapper D.O.C so that leads me to believe that its time for The D.O.C. to get the respect he deserves for what he's contributed to HipHop music worldwide.

In the late '80s D.O.C. was recruited to Southern California by Dr. Dre from his childhood home of Dallas. Shortly thereafter, the Texas-bred wunderkind helped bring gangsta rap to the mainstream, ghostwriting large portions of the biggest West Coast classics, starting with Straight Outta Compton. He gave voice to the volatile-yet-comedic character of Eazy-E, and helped define the personas of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. What the MCs who used his words admired about him was not just his rhymes, but his ability to mold ideas and fragments into memorable songs.
"He showed me how to take the greatness out of the words, and combine that into a verse, a hook, a bridge," Snoop told English radio personalityTim Westwood recently.
D.O.C.'s 1989 solo debut, No One Can Do It Better, was expected to make him a star like his collaborators. Featuring his nimble, aggressive-yet-warm chops, it's considered one of the best rap debuts of all time, and Jay-Z cites it as a profound influence. But while driving home drunk and high from a video shoot for a song from the album, he fell asleep and slammed into a tree, hitting it with his face.

Yall better not laugh lol i did tho lol hey man had to start somewhere
http://www.PiKaHsSo.com not till talking to one of my best friends James Shepherd did I realize what I had done I had shot mt 1st music video years ago when I was super young he said PiKaHsSo you've always been before your time as far as Dallas hiphop is concerned so i thought yeah man this is my 1st video not my 1st song trust me i got tons before this. Im thankful to God that alot of my early hiphop years was documented not all of them and alot of the tapes got lost or destroyed but i still have a few gems. This was a group I was in called the Day After i named it that because I was inspired by the Movie The Day After which was about the Aftermath of what would happen if the world had a nuclear bomb attack. I compared it to what I would do to emcees after stepping to me so this song is called Faces Of Death "The AfterMath" cause we was stating that we would be giving emcees the Faces Of Death. Yeah i know its cocky but hey thats what hiphop was about back then skills. And although im a way better artist now I dont regret this goofy moments not one bit. And if you look at the video i left a lil footage at the end of me, James Shepherd of Eargazum, Delon Crawford aka Poindexter, Jay with the step stair box cut and Joey Belson clowning in Poindexters Grandmama's backyard right after we shot the video. We had a show later on that night at one of the premiere spots for underground hiphop in Dallas club Tropical Exodus on Crowdus street anybody who was somebody back then rocked on that stage it's legendary glad I had several chances to grace it.
