Man I remember it like it was yesterday when we got word the Pimp C passed he was good friends of my homeboys the legendary Bobo Luchiano and use to freQuently call the radio show i co hosted with Bobo Luchiano, DJ Fish, David, DJ Drop & Kita Khat so it really was a sad time knowing that Pimp C and Bobo was extremely close. For those who may not know Pimp C said Bobo's name in his song One Day You Here & The Next Day you're gone and everytime i hear that line I get chills. I had the chance to meet Pimp C & Bun B back in about 98 at the Dream Circle Studios in Oak Cliff and im glad I got a chance to. Rest in Peace To a Southern Rap Pioneer who did more than you can ever imagine to get Southern Rap out of the confines of our region and out to the world.
